Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. One click from your member portal, no questions asked. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — no partial refunds, no penalties. You get what you paid for through the end of the month.
Can I transfer my Shield membership to another car or person?
No. Shield is non-transferable. It's locked to your VIN and original owner at time of enrollment. If you get a new vehicle, contact us to discuss options.
Does Shield cover full windshield replacement?
No. Shield covers rock chip repairs only — not cracks or full replacements. If a chip is too large to repair (generally >¼ inch in your line of sight), standard replacement pricing applies. Shield members still get the 5% discount on replacements.
Do I need to have gotten my windshield from Legendary to qualify?
For the VIN eligibility gate, your VIN must be on file with a completed Legendary install. If you're a prior customer, you're likely already eligible. Call (804) 518-5532 to verify.
What hours can I use Shield repairs?
Monday through Friday, 10 AM – 6 PM. This is our standard repair window. Book at /book and note your Shield membership.
How many repairs do I get?
Up to 3 rock chip repairs per windshield, per year (12 months from enrollment date). The counter resets annually. If you need a 4th repair in a year, standard pricing applies.
